Storage / Drying / Material Conveying
With the increasing development of the plastics industry new needs have emerged. More machines, greater variety and quantity of raw materials creating the need for an integrated materials management system. But what is an integrated materials management system. It’s a centralized system that consists of many levels starting from material storage, drying (if necessary), conveyance in many stages and finally up to the material processing machines (extruders, injection molding machines).
The necessity of the system lies to the fact that we can monitor -through a user friendly pc environment- all the stages and receive information. Volumes of raw materials, consumptions and various statistics that will further help us with the material orders and production management reducing time and costs. If we wanted to separate this system into subsections, then it would be those:
Storage: consists of the storage silos and the pneumatic filling trolley
Drying (optional): consist of the drying silos with constant control over the temperature and humidity depending on the material needs
Material Conveying: consists of a pipe network for air conveying, the vacuum systems and the material buffers
Dosing systems: standalone dosing systems and complete loss in weight dosing systems depending of the production need in material quantity and consumption rates
Our company designs and manufactures those systems to meet the demands for space saving and production needs while examining future expansions and upgrades.
